A Weightlifting Meet in downtown Birmingham, AL. Come lift with us and help grow the sport of Olympic Weightlifting in AL.

About this Event

Join us for B'ham Slam 2020, and Olympic Weightlifting Meet in downtown Birmingham, AL on Saturday April 4th, 2020.

  • All ages, weight classes and experience levels are welcome!

  • This will be a SANCTIONED Meet where competitors are required to have an active USAW membership and required to wear a singlet during the competition.

  • Meet Schedule and Lifting Times will be posted he week of the meet. Medals will be awarded to the best Male and Female lifter(s) in each age division and weight class.

Early Bird Registration: Feb 20th through Sunday, March 1st - $55 / athlete

General Registration: March 2nd through Sunday, March 29th - $65 / athlete

Join us for the B'ham Slam, an Olympic Weightlifting Meet for all ages, weight classes and ability levels in downtown Birmingham.

All experience levels are welcome. There will be a SANCTIONED Division where competitors are required to have an active USAW membership and required to wear singlets during the competition. Click here to register for a USAW membership.

We will also have an OPEN Division where singlets and weight lifting shoes are optional and a USAW membership is not required. This is a great way to be introduced to the sport of weightlifting.

**Note that competitors in this division may not use their score for any advancement or qualifying status towards other sanctioned meets.**
